Religion Mary I of England

Mary I, known as Mary Tudor, was the daughter of Henry VIII and Catherine of Aragon. She was raised Catholic and became the first woman to reign as Queen of England. Her reign was marked by her efforts to re-establish Catholicism in England after the Protestant reformation initiated by her father.
